U.S. Coast Guard Support 

Civil Engineering Unit, Cleveland
A/E Services for Miscellaneous Environmental Services

In 2002, AECOM was awarded a contract with the U.S. Coast Guard – Civil Engineering Unit- Cleveland for Architect-Engineer Services for Miscellaneous Environmental Services for Shore Facilities and Off-shore Aids-to-Navigation Facilities. This is a total turnkey environmental service contract that includes support throughout the United States with primary emphasis in the geographic area of responsibility being CEU-Cleveland work area. The contract includes a base year and four option years with a total contract capacity of $12.5M. In 2008, AECOM was awarded another contract with CEU Cleveland as a continuance of the serviced offered under the previous contract.  Work to be accomplished under this contract includes:
  • Environmental investigations, assessments and reporting to include Phase I and II site assessments;
  • Remedial design and remedial action;
  • Operation and maintenance support of remedial systems;
  • Analysis of remedial alternatives;
  • Environmental permit compliance requirements;
  • Development and certification of various environmental management plans to include spill plans, stormwater management plans and community relations plans;
  • Geographic information systems;
  • Environmental management systems; and
  • Preparation of NEPA compliance documents to include but not limited to EAs, EISs, natural and cultural resource surveys, and socioeconomic resource surveys.
