U.S. Coast Guard Support
In 2002, ENSR was awarded a contract with the U.S. Coast Guard – Civil Engineering Unit- Cleveland for Architect-Engineer Services for Miscellaneous Environmental Services for Shore Facilities and Off-shore Aids-to-Navigation Facilities. This is a total turnkey environmental service contract that includes support throughout the United States with primary emphasis in the geographic area of responsibility being CEU-Cleveland work area. The contract includes a base year and four option years with a total contract capacity of $12.5M. Work to be accomplished under this contract includes:
- Environmental investigations, assessments and reporting to include Phase I and II site assessments;
- Remedial design and remedial action;
- Operation and maintenance support of remedial systems;
- Analysis of remedial alternatives;
- Environmental permit compliance requirements;
- Development and certification of various environmental management plans to include spill plans, stormwater management plans and community relations plans;
- Geographic information systems;
- Environmental management systems; and
- Preparation of NEPA compliance documents to include but not limited to EAs, EISs, natural and cultural resource surveys, and socioeconomic resource surveys.
