Permitting and Compliance for Manufacturing and Industrial Facilities

Manufacturing and industrial facilities permitting frequently addresses air quality and water quality/supply.  In addition to these permitting issues, ENSR also assists clients with site selection, Phase I site assessments (due diligence), and local permitting including zoning, transportation, and noise. Wetlands may be an issue at many sites, and ENSR can address wetland delineation, avoidance, and restoration/replacement within the contexts of Corps of Engineers Section 404 and state wetland permits.

Waste management compliance and minimization issues on our projects have covered the spectrum from basic steel production to high-tech electronics manufacturing. Often overlooked, but critical to the ultimate success of a project, is the acceptability of the facility location to regulatory agencies and the public. ENSR has extensive experience in making presentations to and offering testimony at public meetings and hearings held by state regulatory agencies and local planning and zoning commissions. Such forums give ENSR the opportunity to support the project by accurately and clearly presenting the potential effects of a project and the steps that are being taken to minimize or eliminate these effects.
